On Thursday, Whole Foods announced that it would sell Amazon products at major discounts the week leading up to Black Friday at more than 100 locations.
While many Whole Foods began stocking the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot immediately after its acquisition by Amazon in August, the grocery brand announced plans to expand the selection of products on Thursday. Now, more than 100 stores will sell products including the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV, Kindle e-readers, and Fire tablets.
Whole Food's pre-Black Friday deals include $20 off the Echo Dot, $20 off the new Amazon Echo, and $30 off Kindle Paperwhite.
Amazon is also opening staffed pop-up stores inside Whole Foods stores in five cities in mid-November. Amazon Pop-Up stores in Chicago, Rochester Hills, Michigan, Davie, Florida, Pasadena, California, and Denver, Colorado will give customers the chance to test products before buying.
