All Is Well, even as Bachchan and Kapoor fight

The most famous families of Bollywood, Kapoors and Bachchans, go a long way back. While on professional front, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor have acted in many movies together, on the personal front, Amitabh’s daughter is married to the son of Rishi’s sister.

Interestingly, Amitabh’s son Abhishek and the Kapoor starlet Kareena started their careers with the same movie, 15 years back. Not only that, Abhishek was also engaged to the elder Kapoor sister, Karishma, for a brief while.

While that all is history now, two stars from these families are now coming together as father and son in Umesh Shukla’s upcoming movie All Is Well.

The trailer of the movie was launched yesterday, and the first look of the movie suggests that it’s about a road trip that the father-son duo undertake, with the mother of the family, played by Supriya Pathak Kapur, and Asin, who plays Abhishek’s love interest.

The actors are constantly bickering with each other on the trip and it results in rib-tickling comedy.

After Dil Dhadakne Do, it looks like the season of showing dysfunctional families on trips is the new “in” thing. Won’t you agree?
