Airbnb appears to have survived what could have been a huge blow to its business in San Francisco.

Proposition F, a local ballot measure that was seen as a threat to Airbnb in its hometown, has failed.

Preliminary results Tuesday night show voters rejecting Prop F by a wide margin - more than 60 percent against, and less than 40 percent in favor.

The measure would have curbed the number of days a host can rent on the platform, capping it at 75, as reported by Business Insider's Biz Carson.

The measure was largely seen as a threat to Airbnb's overall growth.
