Air Costa employees have not got their salaries since June

Air Costa airlines has been so low on cash since the past few months that it has not paid salaries to some of its employees since June.

Kavitha Yarlagadda, HR chief AVP of this Vijayawada-based regional carrier's has also apologised for this lapse in letters reviewed by ET.

As per a few reports, Air Costa is in talks with Qatar Airways to sell up to 26% stake, and Qatar is supposed to reply on August 15.

Several regional airlines in India are facing cash crunch these days.
