After getting a DWI for refusing a breathalyzer at a Waka Flocka concert earlier this year, Texas college student Tara Monroe had her license suspended and her car taken away by her father.

Her new solution for transportation is a pink Barbie Jeep (meant for children) to ride around campus.

Now, people on the internet can't get enough of the "Barbie Girl," San Antonio Express-News reported earlier this week.

Here's a look at Monroe riding around on her Jeep, which she says maxes out at 5mph.

Monroe bought her ride on Craiglist for $60. The previous owner was a six-year-old girl named Charlene, the name Monroe now uses to refer to the Jeep.

"This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame," Monroe told San Antonio Express-News. "Basically, it was the best decision I've made in college, yet." (We assume driving while intoxicated was on other other end of the spectrum.)

Monroe and Charlene have become celebrities both on campus in Texas and online this week with many Twitter users have shared pictures and clips of Monroe riding around in her little pink whip.

She's even become a meme.Check out this "Mean Girls"-inspired tweet. Tech Insider has reached out to Monroe for comment and we'll update if we hear back. Though, based on Monroe's Twitter account, it seems unlikely we'll be hearing from her unless Miley Cyrus intervenes. Here's the latest from Monroe's Twitter. Check out the full interview with Monroe here or below.
