Ohio State University's emergency management system tweeted on Monday morning that there was an active shooter on campus near Watts Hall.

The tweet urged students to "run, hide, fight," which is standard guidance in active shooter situations.
A Twitter user who appeared to be an OSU student tweeted a photo of the police presence at the university.
