A woman who has accused Donald Trump of raping her as a child will appear at a press conference Wednesday, the woman's attorney announced.

The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, alleged in a June lawsuit that Trump, the Republican nominee for president, raped her in 1994, when she was 13 years old.

According to her lawsuit, the alleged rape took place in 1994 at parties hosted by Jeffrey Epstein, a New York financier who in 2008 was convicted of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution.

The lawsuit was amended and refiled in September.

In a tweet announcing the press conference, the woman's attorney, Lisa Bloom, criticized the "mainstream media" for not covering the lawsuit. Some media outlets have cited inconsistencies in the woman's story and the risk of citing an anonymous testimony without speaking to the accuser as reasons to avoid covering the case.

Trump has repeatedly and vehemently denied the claims.

"I would say the same thing I've said a million times. The allegations are reckless, irresponsible, and categorically untrue," Alan Garten, Trump's attorney, told BuzzFeed News in October.
