As the tension brewing between India and Pakistan refused to die down, a tweet by a Pakistani journalist emerged earlier today claiming F-16 planes are flying over Islamabad.

This information shared by GEO TV journalist Hamid Mir via Twitter Relations is hinting at relations getting more tensed between the two countries following the deadly Uri attacks in Kashmir.

The tweet stirred curiosity and was quick to grab widespread attention on the social networking portal, following which Mir re-tweeted "don’t worry it is just to assure people of Islamabad that our forces are fully aware and ready to fight."

His tweet indicated that it was most probably an air defense drill by the Pakistan’s air force. However, no independent verifications have been made so far.
