An 82-foot sailing yacht worth $2.7 million ran aground early this morning in Pacifica, California, then was reported stolen by its owner, who realized it was missing when he saw the story on the news.

According to ABC, the Sausalito Police Department has confirmed that the "Darlin" was stolen during the night from Sausalito Yacht Harbor.

There were two men and one woman on board the boat, which was surrounded by authorities, the Marin Independent Journal reported. They were arrested at the scene. Their relationship to the owner is unclear.

No one was injured when the boat ran aground, according to the AP.
