A Bottlenose Dolphin Gives Birth On Camera

The Brookfield Zoo in Illinois welcomed a newborn Bottlenose dolphin to their clan last Friday.

The baby girl, born to a 26-year-old dolphin named Allie, weighed 40 pounds and measured three feet long at birth.

Allie was in labor for two hours before she delivered the calf. The delivery is shown in the video below:
