A 23-year-old rapper who refuses to sign a record deal is now starring in a Kit Kat commercial
The 23-year-old artist, who has been called the most talented rapper of his generation, is now starring in a new commercial for Kit Kat. The commercial, which debuted on Tuesday, marks the first time that the candy's iconic jingle has been remixed by a celebrity artist.
The Halloween-themed ad shows a costumed Chance the Rapper entranced by a singing Chance the Wrapper on a Kit Kat bar. Chance croons Kit Kat's jingle in his signature style, as a piano plays in the background.

Chance the Rapper and Kit Kat may seem like a surprising pairing. After all, Chance has made his name for himself as an anti-establishment icon of sorts, turning down record deals from numerous labels and thriving as an independent musician.
But teaming up with brands to create and remix jingles is a common gig for musicians. Rapper Pusha T wrote the "I'm Lovin' It" jingle for McDonald's in the early 2000s, and, in 2008, Chris Brown's top-10 hit "Forever" was revealed to be created as an extended version of a new Doublemint jingle.
