This Drafthouse also has a gender-neutral bathroom, a move Tim League made in many of his theaters in the wake of the bathroom controversy in North Carolina.
At the end of the hall, you enter the theater's bar, House of Wax. And if you're in the mood for some entertainment while having a drink, you're in luck.
The bar exhibits a curated selection of rare German waxwork sculptures including life-size displays of human oddities, animal attractions, and death masks.
The collection is from the 1870s and includes Napoleon Bonaparte's death mask.
House of Wax will pour 100% local, New York state draft beers — nearly 40, including Brooklyn, Other Half, Threes, Transmitter, and Interboro — along with a curated selection of wine on draft and by the bottle, and a uniquely themed menu of craft cocktails.
There will also be live performances as well as Drafthouse staples: dedicated trivia and karaoke nights.
And don't worry about rushing to down your drink before going to your theater. You can walk with your drink from House of Wax to your movie.

All seven screens at Drafthouse Brooklyn provide food and drink service, so you can keep the beer flowing.
When you come to the theater (or order a ticket online) you reserve a seat. The chairs are a lot more comfy than at the multiplex.
When you come to your theater and sit in your seat, you'll find a menu, order card, and pencil. Just write up your order and the waitstaff will do the rest.
The kitchen at the Drafthouse Brooklyn is one of the largest of any of the chain's locations. The favorite queso is on the menu, as well as new items like the Brisket Burger. Most of the items on the menu are made from scratch.
And, of course, there's lots of popcorn.
Tim League told Business Insider that this theater has been in the works for over five years. And with numerous subway lines nearby, he points out "it's just 15 minutes" from a lot of places in Manhattan.
Regular admission tickets are $14.50, and the theater will be playing a mix of big-budget movies (including 3D), independent cinema, and unique cult movies.
