As a pilot by training I am enjoying spotting airports from space! This one is Madrid Barajas [MAD]. I can even see the planes taxiing to the runway!
Better goals
I remember having already taken in photo this place at the beginning of my mission, but this time I was able to zoom in a lot more. I draw two conclusions: I'm starting to learn more about our planet and I'm getting better with the powerful goals.
An active volcano
You maybe already asked what looked like the crater of an active volcano... this is what it gives from space! The Mauna LOA (in Hawaii) has snow at the top and lava flows very identifiable on its slopes
