Adam Leber, the former manager of Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus, also likes to dabble in tech investments with Uber, Path, and Everlane.
Lady Gaga's former manager Troy Carter also has a knack for investing. He not only invested in Uber, but also invested in its rival, Lyft.
Shawn Fanning became a top name in the first dot-com bubble when he co-founded music-sharing service Napster. Now he's an active investor in companies like Uber and Square.
Mitch Kapor is well-known as the founder of the Lotus Development Corporation, co-founder of the EFF, and founding chair of Mozilla, which makes the Firefox browser. He's now an investor at Kapor Capital, where he's put money into Uber and bit.ly.
Yelp co-founder and CEO Jeremy Stoppelman also took the time out from his schedule to invest in Uber. He has his money in a lot of other companies too, including Airbnb, Pinterest, and Eventbrite.
Eventbrite's co-founder and CEO Kevin Hartz (pictured right) also has a habit of investing in startups. His other investments include Airbnb, Pinterest, and Palantir.
Naval Ravikant (pictured) and Babak Nivi co-founded AngelList together. Ravikant has other investments in Twitter and Postmates, while Nivi has invested in BackOps.
Oren Michels was the CEO and co-founder of API management company Mashery until it was bought by Intel in 2013. Uber isn't his only investment. He's also in with Navdy, Pebble Post, Addy, and Mindful Meats.
Blogger Josh Spear, the founder of Undercurrent, recently sold his startup to another one of his investments: Quirky. Besides Uber, he's also invested in Circa, Path, and Stumbleupon.
Social media guru Gary Vaynerchuk has also been investing in the time he's not tweeting. Vaynerchuck lists Uber, Birchbox, and Twitter among his investments.
