Dharampreet
Punjabi singer Dharampreet, who had made a name for himself in the Punjabi music industry, ended his life at his Bhatinda residence 2 days ago. The singer, whose last album released 5 years ago, was depressed because of his falling career. What’s shocking is that Dharampreet had been planning this life-ending step for some time now, because he often used to tell his mother that the fan would take his life one day, and the ill-fated day came on Sunday, when he hanged himself to death, using the same fan.

Shikha Joshi
Actress Shikha Joshi, who chose a more painful and slow death by slitting her throat open, blamed a certain Dr Sharma for destroying her life and compelling her to take the extreme step. In the past, she had filed a case of molestation against the said doctor, but he was not punished, leaving Joshi shocked and in demand of justice. She had also consumed sleeping pills in 2012 but was saved.

Jiah Khan
In the recent past, actress Jiah Khan hanged herself in June 2013, after leaving an alleged suicide note claiming heartbreak as the reason of her drastic step. Budding actor Suraj Pancholi, who happened to be her boyfriend, was arrested for interrogation but was later released. The case remains a mystery because of bruise marks on Khan’s body, hinting at the possibility of a murder.

Nafisa Joseph
We all remember Miss India Universe Nafisa Joseph, who was an actor and model. Despite being a successful TV personality, she ended her life because her marriage to fiancé Gautam Khanduja was called off.

Kuljeet Randhawa
Merely two years later after the death of Joseph, her co-star from serial C.A.T.S Kuljeet Randhawa, who is also remembered for her portrayal of Prishita in the teen TV series Hip Hip Hurray, hanged herself to death. In the suicide note, she clearly stated that she was unable to deal with the pressures of life. Incidentally, a quick Google search on Nafisa’s death shows the image of a deeply disturbed Kuljeet attending her funeral.

Divya Bharti
Young actress Divya Bharti, who took the country by storm in early 90’s and did over 14 films in a span of 2 years fell to her death from her balcony. Even though the case was closed as an accidental death, the possibility of suicide can’t be ruled out because of her troubled relationships with her family. Her death remains to be one of Bollywood’s biggest mysteries till date.
