This French eatery is a little far out — technically, it's in Surrey — but the food is worth the trip, with some delicious seafood — including lemon sole and monkfish — on the main menu, as well as inventive items like an Earl Grey and apricot delice with apricot sauce and sorbet for dessert.
"An outstanding restaurant and fantastic value considering the quality, care and precision involved in the preparation of the food," one review reads. "Three course lunch is a particular bargain at £24.95."

This unconventional French/Korean bistro in West Hampstead combines Korean flavours with European cooking techniques.
"Execution was superb, we enjoyed perfectly cooked cod and steak with understated but elegant presentation and great flavours which let the quality of the ingredients shine through," a review said. "Really good value and prices were reasonable."

This casual restaurant offers classic French cuisine with "excellent presentation" from chef Laurence Glayzer and former sommelier Richard Weiss. The reasonably priced food is full of flavour and especially the desserts, according to one reviewer who recommends the vanilla Crème Brûlée.
The restaurant is offering a 2-course prix-fixe menu at a reduced rate of £19.50 every Thursday to Sunday, and a 2-course Sunday Roast menu for £23.50 every Sunday until April 28.
