Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir to star together in Sajid Nadiadwala’s next?

A few days back, we told you that Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan released the first look of arch competitor Salman Khan’s upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Shah Rukh Khan, who had a long-standing feud with Salman had also graced the sangeet ceremony of Salman’s adopted sister Arpita Khan in November 2014, and Aamir Khan flew all the way to Hyderabad to perform some brotherly duties at her wedding.

Didn’t you think that it was about time that these three, who have been ruling Bollywood for decades, share some screen space together?

Looks like the prayers have been answered, because if reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman are all set to star together in a movie.

Yes you read it right! The holy trinity of Bollywood is reportedly coming together for a movie to be made by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is also likely to direct the movie.

Director Farah Khan, who shares a close bond with all three Khans had once said that even God can’t bring the three Khans together; she had tried to do so for the title song of her movie Om Shanti Om but failed, as the song didn’t see Aamir Khan.
However, the impossible seems to have been made possible by Sajid Nadiadwala, who would be bringing them together for a movie to be released in 2017.

"Sajid has decided to produce a film which will star the three Khan superstars. He may even direct the film himself, though that would depend entirely on the nature of the subject. The film will go on the floors in January 2017 and release in December 2017," a source close to Sajid was reported saying.

If you are already busy thinking about the nature of the movie that would see these three big shots together, the project would most likely be based on Manmohan Desai’s hit movie Amar Akbar Anthony. The movie had an impressive star cast, with all three actors Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan being at certain peaks in their careers, but Desai managed to create equal space for all three of them, which is a demand even now. All three Khans have huge fan followings and lesser screen space as compared to the other two would not go down too well with any of these fan-bases.

Given that all three stars are busy in their ongoing projects, Nadiadwala has chosen 2017 to be the year that the movie goes on floors, so that dates are not an issue.

While Shah Rukh and Salman have starred together in three movies – Karan Arjun, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Salman and Aamir came together for the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
