We had a look at the data of the past month and found that during 9th Jul 2014 to 9th August 2014, India exported sarees worth $13,090,329. Out of this, 30% of the exports were done from JNPT port. Average value per shipment of saree exports in India is $2,04,536.
The major countries to import sarees from India are UAE (27.79%), Malaysia (24.16%), the United Kingdom (8.8%), Sri Lanka(5.41%), Singapore(4.49%), the United States(4.35%), Sudan(3.29%), Mauritius(2.43%) and Canada (2.03%), while the rest of the world makes up the rest 17.25%.
