  • Warning: Spoilers ahead for the first nine episodes of "Love Is Blind" season six.
  • Jessica, who was on the losing end of a love triangle with Jimmy and Chelsea, returns in episode eight.

Jessica Vestal fell for Jimmy Presnell in the "Love Is Blind" pods on season six but was left heartbroken when he ultimately chose flight attendant Chelsea Blackwell.

However, Jessica's epic breakup speech in the pods in episode four isn't the last we see of her. While she's a spectre in the rocky relationship between Jimmy and Chelsea, Jess actually shows up in person when she reunites with Laura Dadisman at a bar at the end of episode eight.

During that conversation, Jessica tells Laura that Jimmy requested to follow her on Instagram right after they got back from the pods and then quickly withdrew the request. She also admits that she's not over him and isn't sure how she'd react to seeing him in person.

Of course, this being "Love Is Blind," we know that Jimmy and Jess will see each other. The supertease at the end of episode nine shows the two finally coming face to face, with Jimmy admitting to the cameras he's attracted to her and even telling Jess that she was still his number one. That's seemingly all capped off by a confrontation where Chelsea, in a separate scene, yells at Jimmy, "I know you fucked her!"

So, what does all that mean for Jessica? Here's what we know about her life since "Love Is Blind" was filmed, and whether she and Jimmy ever did reconnect.

What happened to Jessica after leaving "Love Is Blind"?

Jessica happily reunited with her daughter Autumn after returning from filming (as she recounts to Laura in episode eight, Autumn was aghast and frankly confused that her mom's potential match chose someone else over her). The 10-year-old has also been helping her mom roast people on social media as the season airs.

Despite the potential drama that's been teased by the show, Jessica is clearly on good terms with just about every one of her costars, including Jimmy and Chelsea (whom she both follows; they both also follow her). She's lavished praise on Chelsea in her comments on several of Chelsea's posts, and the two even had a sweet interaction when Jessica shared an interview she did with Entertainment Tonight clarifying the Jimmy situation.

"I love you my sweet Jess," Chelsea commented on the post.

"I love you an insurmountable amount friend. Your happiness > my heartbreak," Jess replied to Chelsea.

Jimmy also chimed in on the same post. "Where did you schedule this interview? Asking for a friend," he joked.

Jess and her ex also had a lighthearted interaction on her post repping the newest episode drop on Wednesday.

"New episodes tomorrow ladies, are we spinning the block or standing on business?" she captioned a photo of her and Jimmy talking at the barbecue, seemingly from the scene featured in the episode nine supertease.

"You would use this song," Jimmy commented, referencing the Drake and 21 Savage song "Spin Bout You" she'd attached to the post.

While that could seem like flirty banter, there's no real evidence these two rekindled things in the last few episodes or after filming, despite what the sneak peek of the pod squad barbecue might have us believe. For one thing, it would be hard to imagine Jess and Chelsea being on such friendly terms if Jimmy and Jess had gotten together at any point.

In interviews about the season, Jess has also made very clear that she's moved on from the love triangle. She told People she had no desire to reach out to Jimmy after the pods.

"I said my piece ... it's weird. It was like a flood of emotions. I was heartbroken, but I also had a sense of peace. I knew that it wasn't meant to be," Jess said. "I think he and I came to that understanding at probably the same time that we weren't meant for each other. So, no, I never had an afterthought about it."

The next two episodes of "Love Is Blind" season six will air on February 28.
