When you start your Year in Music, it shows you the top artists for everyone on Spotify from the last year. Of course the number one artist was Drake.
Number two was Ed Sheeran.
The Weeknd had a big year.

Now we're getting into my personalized 2015 review. Looks like the first song I played in 2015 was Jay Z's "Tom Ford."
My top artist of the year was the post rock band This Will Destroy You with 161 streams, which makes sense given that I listen to them a lot when I blog.
Tycho is also a favorite for blogging.
I definitely listened to a lot of PARTYNEXTDOOR this year.

My favorite band right now. New album in February!
This makes sense as my top album given that the band is my top artist.
Same with Tycho's latest album.

Here are my top genres of the year. What does "Future Garage" mean?
I listened to 20 days of music on Spotify in 2015. That's a lot of streaming!
I've discovered a lot of artists on Spotify that I probably wouldn't have found otherwise. Crazy to think that I listened to over 1,200 different artists this year alone.
Spotify also shows what you listened to the most during different seasons, which is a pretty cool way to look back at how your streaming habits change.
