For a quick process, you can transfer your contacts and other files through the "Move to iOS" app on the Google Play store.
You can download the app here, and follow the instructions to move your content to your new phone.
Apple provides a list of instructions here which describes the actions to take on your iPhone.
Or, you can use your Gmail account to transfer your contacts. First, find the location in your Android settings that contains 'Accounts.' For a Samsung Galaxy S8, it's located under "Cloud and accounts."
Click 'Google,' then make sure 'Sync Contacts' is switched on.
Next, open Gmail on your computer and click the rows of boxes in the top right of the webpage. Click 'Contacts.'
On the left side of the 'Contacts' screen, click 'More' and then click 'Export.'
Make sure to export as 'vCard,' which is necessary for iCloud contacts. This will download a vCard file to your computer.
Go to www.icloud.com and either log in with your iCloud account, or create one. Once on the homepage, click 'Contacts.'
At the bottom left of the 'Contacts' screen, choose 'Import vCard,' and then select the vCard file you downloaded from Gmail.
Your contacts are now synced with iCloud, but you still need to get them onto your new phone. Click on your name and Apple ID in the 'Settings' menu after signing in to iCloud on your new iPhone.
Switch on contact syncing, as shown here. Your contacts should now be imported to your iPhone.
