This is the first incident that comes to mind when we think of Bollywood accidents. In an action sequence, a relatively new actor Puneet Issar accidentally punched the leading actor Amitabh, resulting in an intestinal injury, which almost cost him his life. The event was hugely covered in national and international media, and the fans of the superstar prayed for his speedy recovery. After Amitabh recovered, he completed the shooting of the movie, which went on to become the second-highest grossing movie of all times.

While playing the role of Akshay Kumar’s love interest Mahalakshmi, Aishwarya Rai had a near-death injury. In an action sequence, the actress had to stand in front of a moving jeep, which had to stop at a safe distance from her. However, the driver lost control and the vehicle hit Aishwarya, ramming her into a bush. The accident left her with a fractured foot and some bruises.

As Amitabh and Aishwarya made to the list, it’s no surprise that Abhishek had to follow suit. While shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan, the actor fell from a rickshaw and had to get some stitches near his right eye. The director promptly cancelled the shoot and gave the recovering actor some days off.

The cute and bubbly actress suffered a ligament tear on the sets of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Although, because of her work commitments, she refused to take the advised rest and went on to shoot after taking painkillers. However, the injury didn’t subside and the actress was seen on the support of crutches as she roamed the city for the movie’s promotions.

The king of romance is also the king of injuries. In a career that has spanned 23 long years, the actor has played various roles, and has sustained various injuries while doing so. On the sets of Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, a door crashed into the actor, resulting in a serious shoulder injury. Well, that’s not all, if reports are to be believed, the actor has suffered broken ribs, twisted ankles, broken toes and backbones, and has also injured his left knee, for which he underwent an operation in May 2015.

He isn’t called Khiladi Kumar for nothing. The actor, who is known to have performed some breathtaking stunts in his movies, has also suffered some injuries while shooting for these action scenes. The recent injury that the actor suffered happened while a truck ran over his feet as he was shooting for Holiday. The actor was taken to a hospital after the accident, where he underwent some tests. Incidentally, this was not the first injury on the sets of Holiday. A few weeks prior, Akshay had also twisted his ankle as he performed a long jump from a building.

The beautiful actress has had her share of injuries in her Bollywood career. The first time Katrina got injured was when she was shooting with alleged beau Ranbir for the romantic comedy Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. As the pair was shooting for the movie, Ranbir had to turn around in a hurry. The actor misjudged his timing and hit Katrina’s nose with his hand, making the delicate actress bleed. Well, maybe that’s how the couple fell in love, and is rumored to have moved in together.

After the actress, it was the time for the actor to suffer a nose injury. In the chase sequence that they were shooting, Ranbir had to ram the bike through a wooden wall, and after the shot, Katrina noticed that Ranbir was bleeding through his nose. Tit for tat, do we hear?

The Greek God of Bollywood isn’t new to injuries. After a severe knee injury that he suffered on the sets of Krrish 3, the actor landed in the hospital because of a head injury that he suffered on the sets of Bang Bang. Ironically, the actor was admitted to the hospital a few weeks after he suffered the injury, because he didn’t realize the gravity of the injury until he suffered some discomfort a few weeks later. Apparently, there was a blood clot in his brain that had resulted from the head injury. The actor had to undergo a brain surgery because of this minor injury.

Who isn’t aware of the infamous accident that involved actor Salman Khan? Allegedly, on September 28, 2002, the actor’s car rammed into the pedestrian’s way in front of a famous bakery in Bandra, killing one and injuring four people. The actor has been in and out of court for the case, having been charged and convicted for the same a few months back.
