ambassador to promote the brand and the latest to have on is
HP India. The multinational company has signed
Deepika Padukone to be the face of the company and with the announcement launched two new phablets in the country. The new HP Slate6 and Slate7 VoiceTab are going to be available in India for a price of Rs 16,990 and Rs 22,990.
This next generation of these large screen devices from HP have 6 and 7-inch touchscreens and run the
Android 4.2.2 operating environment. The key feature of these tablets possess is the ability to make voice calls. However, the calling phenomenon in tablets is not a new one and companies like Asus and
Samsung already have tablets in the market with the same feature.
Both the tablets have front stereo speakers and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by 32GB using a microSD card. HP is giving couple of useful apps with the VoiceTab 6 and 7 like the HP connected storage app for downloading and streaming music, and HP ePrint app that enables the users to print wirelessly using any of the HP’s compatible printers. Over that, HP is giving 25GB of cloud storage to every buyer.
