The park map shows the sheer size of the project. Legoland, Bollywood, and Hollywood all come together to cement Dubai's place as the entertainment capital of the Middle East.
Upon arrival, guests arrive in Riverland which acts as the gateway to the three other theme parks. Different parts of Riverland are modelled on different parts of the world. Pictured below is a French village — which strangely also includes an Olive Garden.
The park was opened by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and prime minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
There are over 100 rides and attractions in total.
The Legoland is the first in the region. It features over 15,000 Lego models sculpted using more than 60 million bricks.
Legoland boasts six themed areas, including Kingdoms, Adventure, Miniland, Imagination and Factory, but perhaps the most impressive is Lego City, which is a miniature replica of Dubai's famous skyline.
The Lego sculpture of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world, is also the tallest Lego sculpture in the world, made using 438,000 lego bricks.
Motiongate, the park's Hollywood-inspired region, is split into three smaller sections — Columbia Pictures, DreamWorks, Lionsgate, and a Smurfs Village.
Smurf Village is lined with mushroom-capped houses and whimsical scenery.
Characters from big movies such as Shrek can be found around the area.
There are 27 rides and attractions in Motiongate, including five rollercoasters. The world's first rollercoaster inspired by the Hunger Games is set to open early 2017.
The Bollywood district is the world's first theme park dedicated to the Indian film industry.
Inside, visitors can appear in their own Bollywood movies or watch one of the 30 different shows put on every day by more than 400 performers and 200 Bollywood dancers.
There's even a full-sized theatre housed in a palatial building modelled on the Taj Mahal.
The streets of Mumbai have also been brought to Dubai. Here, guests can take part in an immersive 3D ride where they chase down Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood.
Or they can ride on one of Mumbai's famous trains which also run through the park, although they look far less crowded than the real ones.
Inside the Bollywood Hall of Heroes, visitors can experience what the park calls a 4D multi-sensory experience.
