Filming for next year's "Doctor Strange" movie featuring Benedict Cumberbatch is underway in Nepal and images from the film's set are already making their way online.
And the usually clean-shaven actor looks pretty unrecognizable.
Footage of the star on set with director Scott Derrickson ("Sinister") appeared on YouTube.
Even more images of the "Sherlock" star looking barely recognizable with a long, haggard beard started popping up on Twitter and Instagram.
The comic of the same name from the late 1960s follows Doctor Stephen Strange, a brilliant and egotistical neurosurgeon whose hands are crippled after a car crash. He seeks out a rumored mystical being - the Ancient One - who can possibly heal him. However, the Ancient One initially has no interest in helping the selfish Strange.
In several images, you can see Cumberbatch with his hands bandaged as though they were injured.
One of the most interesting images shows Cumberbatch filming alongside actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. The Oscar winner was cast as Strange's nemesis Baron Mordo. In the comics, Mordo eventually attempts to kill the Ancient One and is stopped by Strange.
The set images have even resulted in a fun faux poster from fans.
We still have a while before we'll see any footage from "Doctor Strange." After all, Marvel's next movie, "Captain America: Civil War," is set to premiere next May and we have yet to see a trailer for that.
"Doctor Strange" will be in theaters November 4, 2016.
