Nilay Patel at The Verge confirms various reports that Apple is developing a wearable mini-computer for the wrist.
He says Apple is running into two problems. It wants full-blown iOS to work on the watch, but this is hurting battery life.
Apple wants the iWatch to go 4-5 days between recharges. Right now, it's only working for a couple of days at a time.
Also, iOS for the watch needs some interface tweaks to make it work smoothly between the iPhone and the iWatch.
The goal for Apple seems to be having the iWatch ready to go by the end of the year.
