At least four Metropolitan Police officers were injured as they tried to shut down a massive illegal rave in London early Sunday morning.
The free music event, called "Scumoween," was held in Lambeth in Whitgift Street on the night of Halloween. The event's Facebook page says 13,000 people were invited and 4,000 planned to attend, according to The Mirror.
Footage from the riot shows police, who arrived at the scene late Saturday, being hit with bottles, chairs, and even one petrol bomb by angry crowds.

The chaos lasted for around six hours before police were able to remove everyone from the venue. The event was shut down shortly before 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning, according to a police statement.
"The disorder and criminal damage around the venue has stopped," police said. "A post incident investigation has now begun."
