- Aldi shared the winners of its sixth Fan Favorites Awards, where US shoppers vote for top products.
- The best things at Aldi are Clancy's restaurant-style tortilla chips and tri-colored peppers.
On Wednesday, Aldi announced the results of the sixth-annual Fan Favorites Awards.
Winners in each category are based on votes from Aldi shoppers in the US — this year, the chain collected 37,000 responses.
Here's what shoppers decided were the best products at Aldi this year, from household cleaning staples to specialty cheeses.
Shoppers loved the Bake Shop cheesecake sampler
The Bake Shop cheesecake sampler won Aldi's dessert category this year. It comes with four cheesecake flavors: classic New York-style, turtle, triple chocolate, and strawberry swirl.
Tri-colored peppers won the produce category
In the produce category, tri-colored peppers received the most votes.
The pack of red, orange, and yellow bell peppers is versatile and easy to pair with dips or add to a dish.
Voters loved the Specially Selected aged Gouda
Aldi is a famously great place to go if you're looking to make an incredible charcuterie board on a budget.
But the "Charcuterie Favorite" category could only have one winner — and this year, it's the Specially Selected aged Gouda.
Imported from The Netherlands, the cheese is aged 1,000 days and could be a crowd-pleasing addition to any cheese board.
Clancy's restaurant-style tortilla chips and Mama Cozzi's deli pizza were both delivery favorites
This year, Aldi also introduced a category for game-day favorites shoppers like to have delivered to their door. Clancy's restaurant-style tortilla chips and Mama Cozzi's deli pizza tied for first place.
It's just another win for Mama Cozzi's deli pizzas, which have earned so many fan-favorite titles that they're the only item with a spot in Aldi's Hall of Fame.
Aldi's beef selection dominated the awards this year
Another new category this year was "Cozy Comfort," where shoppers voted for their favorite cold-weather staples. This year's winner is the Black Angus beef chuck roast, which can be used for hearty meals like pot roast or beef noodles.
Another winner from the meat aisle is Aldi's Black Angus ribeye steak, the top pick for grilling.
Shoppers voted for Park Street Deli hummus in the 'Feel Good Pick' category
In the "Feel Good Pick" category, shoppers voted for their favorite "balanced swap." This year's winner is the Park Street Deli hummus.
This popular dip comes in classic flavors like garlic and red pepper and limited-edition ones including sherbet mango-lime and honey-jalapeño.
It also happens to pair well with other award winners on the list, like the tri-colored peppers.
Shoppers chose the Little Salad Bar chicken Caesar salad bowl as their favorite quick meal
Aldi has many quick, easy-to-prepare meals on its shelves — but the best "In A Pinch" dish went to the Little Salad Bar chicken Caesar this year.
Each bowl has 16 grams of protein and comes with romaine, white-meat chicken, Asiago, and Caesar dressing.
Atlantic salmon is the top seafood pick at Aldi
Aldi shoppers love the brand's Atlantic salmon, which took the crown for the seafood category. It's a popular staple, whether you're following a Mediterranean diet or just craving some seafood.
Aldi's Atlantic salmon also won the seafood category for the past few years — shoppers particularly loved the variety rubbed with Mediterranean herbs in 2023.
Barissimo Barista cold foam is a repeat purchase for some shoppers
"The Internet Made Me Buy It" category focuses on trending items that shoppers might've seen on social media. This year's winner was the Barissimo Barista cold foam.
The cold foam comes in flavors like sweet vanilla and caramel macchiato and can be sprayed on just about any beverage.
A representative for Aldi said the product was so popular that the chain has sold around 2 million cans of it so far this year.
Many shoppers want Huntington Home Swedish dishcloths back on shelves
In the new "Encore" category, shoppers voted for which limited-edition Aldi item they'd like to see return to shelves.
This year's winner was the Huntington Home Swedish dishcloths, a reusable cleaning cloth that was available at Aldi in a range of colorful designs.
Shoppers gave the crown to Specially Selected Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon
For years, Aldi has been famous for its budget-friendly wine selection.
This year, the title of best Specially Selected wine went to the Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon that usually retails for about $15.
