A Porsche just caught fire while being moved around at The New York International Auto Show. What?!
The car in question was a Porsche 911 Turbo, and it was "modified" - meaning this wasn't just any old Porsche from a dealership. It happened Thursday at the Jacob Javitz Center, a convention center on Manhattan's west side.

Information is limited, but a photographer who was on scene when all of this went down told egmCarTech that the Porsche 911 was on and moving around at the DUB booth when he heard a massive bang go off.
NBC 4 New York has reported that it was a small electrical fire that was put out without issue.
No word on whether there were any injuries.
The 911 looks like it was a mid-90s, 993 generation car. On eBay, these are currently valued at $100,000 and up.
Not a great week for expensive Porsches, eh?
