5% GDP growth in the third quarter hasn't been revised down - congrats, America!
We did it!
The Bureau of Economic Analysis released its second estimate of real GDP growth for the fourth quarter. It was 2.2% on an annualized basis. That's pretty "meh."
The bigger deal, though, is that the BEA's third quarter estimate was unrevised. We're now pretty sure that the economy grew at 5% over the summer. We could be just a hop, skip, and a jump away from boom times.
Congrats!
