The Apollo 11 mission — the one that put the first man on the moon in 1969 — celebrates its 50th anniversary today. It took a total of 400,000 people from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to turn the dream into a reality and there are some things that haven’t changed.
The technology and inventions that NASA developed along the way are still at play today. Most of them are outdated, but a few have managed to stand the test of time.
