Earlier, they were known as rebellious runaways with nothing better to do and consequently, didn’t get much respect. But times have changed now and people have started to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and artistic skills that the tattoo industry (or any body art, for that matter) demands. Thanks to a blooming industry and a lack of talented professionals, tattoo artists earn a decent amount and have the perks of working at their will. Most tattoo artists charge between Rs 1,000-10,000 per hour, depending on their experience and popularity.

Everyone gets high on wines, but sommeliers or wine stewards are the ones who actually know all the highs and lows of alcoholic beverages. Wine-and-food pairing is a full-fledged service and requires high skills, as well as knowledge of different wines. There are no sommelier schools in India as of now, and for higher professional training, one needs to go abroad. However, for starting, you can undertake a certificate course from institutes situated in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, and then start working with a hotel/restaurant. Salary of experienced sommeliers can go up to Rs 1 lakh or more in India, and it is much higher in foreign countries where the wine industry has flourished.

If you are creative, can understand people’s emotions and know how to express profound thoughts in a few words, you can work for greeting card companies. It is a high-paying job and would definitely satisfy the writer within you. In India, this is more of a freelance job and the Greeting Card Association of America has suggested a payment rate between $25 and $150 per card, giving you enough reasons to work for them.

Unlike acting, this is not a tough industry to get in and pays big bucks. With the dubbed foreign language movies and shows gaining in popularity, this industry is, indeed, growing fast. The salary depends upon the budget of the show and can range between Rs 5,000-20,000 per sitting.
