Suzuki unveiled its new 2016 Suzuki Access at the 2016 Auto Expo, and it looked and felt great. Way before the Honda Activa 125 dominated the segment, the Access was the darling of buyers looking for more power than 110cc.

However, with its design showing age, the Access felt out of breath with nothing special to offer than front telescopic suspension and a sensible price of around Rs. 53k.

Retro Styling:

The biggest revamp on the Access is its fresh design. The entire front has seen an overhaul with new headlamps, clear turn indicators and new side panels. The refreshing instrument cluster adds to the overall retro styling. Think of it, you won't get retro design for anything cheaper than a Vespa.

Suzuki's SEP:

The Access125 will get Suzuki’s SEP or Eco Performance technology. This is standard across most Suzuki two-wheelers, and the Access will have it too now.

The SEP optimizes air and fuel flow and reduces frictional losses. This results in better overall performance and fuel economy figures.

Alloy Wheels:

This Access 125 is the first Suzuki scooter to come fitted with alloy wheels. The 12-inch alloy wheels mean the Access 125 would offer better ride and handling too.
