2 execs at Citadel's Aptigon unit are out

The head of Citadel's Aptigon stock-picking unit and its chief operating officer are no longer with the firm.

Rich Schimel, Aptigon's former head, and David Bonfili, formerly COO, have left, a spokesman for Citadel confirmed in an email to Business Insider.

"Eric Felder has been named Head of Aptigon Capital and Reza Shahi will assume COO responsibilities for the business," the spokesman said.

The spokesman said: "We are committed to the success of Aptigon Capital, and we will continue to recruit leading talent to the team."
