19 banks where people in their 20s can make over £85,000 a year
To find which banks pay their UK staff the best, we used data provided by salary benchmarking site Emolument to compare the average annual pay - combining base salaries and bonuses - of associates.
Associates are mid-level employees who usually have at least a few years of experience under their belts, which means they're usually still in their 20s.
The figures are taken from a study of associates working in the investment banking, markets, and brokerage areas of the banks.
The data highlights some interesting information about bankers' pay in the UK. For example, Bank of America associates take home the biggest average salary, but UBS employees have the biggest bonuses.
