15 points Mukesh Ambani made while unleashing Reliance Jio freebies, prime membership

Mukesh Ambani unveiled a slew of offers and announced sharp discounts on its Reliance Jio network, a way to say thanks to over 100 million Reliance Jio users.

Ambani, in his address, said Reliance Jio crossed the 100 million customer mark in just 170 days.

“A heartfelt thank you to each customer; this milestone belongs to you and entire Jio community. This record is an achievement of India and Indians,” said Ambani.

He said Jio customers were creating several records every day and within six months, they showed Indians can use data at par with the advanced nations.

Ambani said by 2017-end, Jio network will be present across all Indian cities and cover 90% of the population.

One of the main attractions of his announcement was the custom made Jio Prime membership plan for current Jio customers before March 31, 2017. They can enrol for the membership for full year for nominal fee only for Rs 99.
