Every great actor has a few bad movies in their past. But there's one particular brand of bad movie that seems to draw in great actors: bad video game movies. It happens to even the best actors.

Glenn Close, for example, has a bafflingly small, "Is that really her?" cameo in the new "Warcraft" movie. While the film has made over $200 million worldwide, critics haven't taken kindly to the film.

Close isn't the only big name to appear in video game adaptations. Well-regarded industry legends like Burt Reynolds and Ben Kingsley have found themselves in video game movies that either bombed critically or commercially, sometimes both.

Video game movies aren't just bad. For many actors, they're the worst movies of their entire career. The lowest-rated movies of Kingsley and Jason Statham's entire careers were video game adaptations.
