Underutilised? US has been giving $13 billion funds to Pakistan since 9/11 attacks for war on terrorism
Pakistan’s defence secretary Alam Khattak revealed that the country received $13 billion from the US for war on terror since 9/11 attacks.

US funded Pakistan under Coalition Support Fund (CSF) since the September 11, 2001 attacks for logistic.

While briefing the Senate committee on defence in Islamabad, Khattak said Pakistan his country got "$13 billion under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) since 9/11", while another $200 million is due to be reimbursed by the US.

He said that 40 per cent of the amount received was allocated to civil government while 60 per cent was given to the armed forces.

The CSF is going to end on September 30 this year with the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
