  1. Insiders at food delivery startup Deliveroo relayed the 100-hour weeks, intense culture, and divisive hires that made it a $2 billion business with backing from Amazon. The startup was founded in 2013 and insiders say its massive growth is partly thanks to the fierce but quiet ambition of 39-year-old CEO and cofounder Will Shu.
  2. A US appeals court upheld a ruling that bars Trump from blocking people on Twitter because it's discriminatory and unconstitutional. A US Court of Appeals issued its decision Tuesday, and ruled that free speech under the First Amendment doesn't allow Trump to block users from open online discourse.
  3. Facebook is launching a new team to build new apps and it expects "many failures." The group will be called the NPE - or "New Product Experiences" - Team.
  4. Marriott got slammed with a $123 million fine after a major data breach exposed the personal data of 339 million hotel guests. The breach occurred in 2014 in hotel company Starwood's database, and Marriott inherited the undetected breach when it bought Starwood in 2016.
  5. A flaw in video conferencing tool Zoom is leaving Apple Mac users' webcams vulnerable to being hijacked. A researcher found a vulnerability in Zoom's Apple Mac app, which means users can have their cameras remotely activated by clicking a link.
  6. Nintendo is moving the production of its hit Nintendo Switch game console to Vietnam amid trade tensions between China and the US. Nintendo says the shift begins this summer, and is a measure of "diversifying risks."
  7. YouTube is finally on Amazon Fire TV and Chromecast supports Prime Video after Google and Amazon ended their streaming war. The two companies' streaming war goes back to 2015.
  8. A rare Pokémon card worth $60,000 got lost in the mail, and the seller is offering a $1,000 bounty for its return. The card, "Trainer No. 3," was sold by the eBay user Pokemonplace and insured for $50,000 before being shipped via USPS.
  9. A top "Super Smash Bros." player admitted to dating a teenage competitor and immediately announced his retirement. Elliot Bastien "Ally" Carroza-Oyarce, 28, was publicly accused of dating the teenager in March but admitted to the relationship on July 4.
  10. IBM's $34 billion Red Hat purchase just closed, and its cloud boss says it gives Big Blue an advantage in the "trillion dollar" hybrid cloud market. As the deal closed, IBM vowed once more to keep Red Hat independent.
