Amid opposition protests and inconvenience faced by the general public, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an emotional appeal and defended his move of demonetisation.

Addressing BJP MPs, Modi stated demonetisation was done for people’s benefit and also urged his ministers to counter the misinformation spread by the opposition.

In wake of protests and disruptions of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Modi went to public and asked for their opinion on his ‘NM app’.
