It’s not an easy Tuesday for India’s financial capital Mumbai. A wall collapsed on shanties in Mumbai killing at least 13 people. Another seven perished in a wall collapse in the neighboring city of Pune, after heavy rain washed out the city, risking thousands of life with a flood-like situation. The rescue work is still on-going, said an official.


In the wake of the incessant rainfall, the state government has declared July 2 as a public holiday for Mumbai.Mumbai is currently witnessing its second highest rain in 44 years.
