10 jailed in Pakistan for involvement in attack on Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai
A security official said none of the four or five men who carried out the attack on Malala was among the 10 men, Reuters reports.
In 2012, militants boarded the teenage activist's school bus and shot her in the head for her outspoken views on girls' education.
The gunman who shot Malala is believed to have fled the border into Afghanistan.
Malala was seriously wounded after the attack and was airlifted to the UK for treatment.
Two years after the attack she won the Nobel Peace Prize and has become a symbol of defiance in the fight against militants operating in ethnic Pashtun areas in northwest Pakistan.
She is unable to return to her homeland since the Taliban continues to threaten to kill her and her family members.
