In India, soap operas are a big deal. While shows like Splitsvilla may trend on social media, the soap operas have cemented themselves as the TRP busters of Indian television. Simply put, India is glued to these serial dramas.

Today Business Insider lists the Top 10 (Hindi) TV serials of the 27th week of July, 2015 according to the Indian Television Rating Target (TRP) ratings.
