Unlike most celebrities, Taye Diggs is follows tons of people on Twitter. At the time of publication, he was following more than 45,000 users.
Diggs finally explained the reason for this odd phenomenon on <a href="http://www.today.com/video/today/55345498#55345498">The Today Show</a>.
Diggs doesn't actually run his Twitter account himself. He hired a social media expert, and he's the one who has been following all of those users.
"I mean I'm embarrassed. Everybody was telling me I needed to have more of a presence on Twitter, so I met with this dude that deals with social network," Diggs said on The Today Show.
That dude advised Diggs to come up with a list of people he was interested and then started following them for Diggs. Now Diggs can check out his Twitter account and stay more informed.
"I'm just trying to keep myself stimulated," Diggs said.

"<keyword id="1941763" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="The-Best-Man-Holiday">The Best Man Holiday</keyword>" surprised everyone making a <a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=bestman2.htm" target="_blank">huge $30 million opening weekend</a>. Friday, it actually<a href="http://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2013/11/16/friday-box-office-analysis-the-best-man-holiday-steals-thors-thunder/" target="_blank"> made more money than the "Thor" sequel</a>.
The romantic comedy following a group of friends reuniting after a number of years has a lot of star power from Taye Diggs ("Private Practice"), Regina Hall, Morris Chestnut, and Terrence Howard, but was predicted to make <a href="http://www.movieweb.com/news/box-office-predictions-can-thor-the-dark-world-hold-back-the-best-man-holiday" target="_blank">$20 million</a> at the most upon debut.
The Malcolm D. Lee directed film cost an <a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=bestman2.htm" target="_blank">estimated $17 million to produce</a>.
One factor that could have played into the film performing better than expected is that the movie is a sequel. 14 years after the original, "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=bestman.htm" target="_blank">The Best Man</a>," many of the stars including Diggs, Howard, Chestnut, all reprise the roles that helped launch many of their careers. 
That film made a total of $34 million worldwide,
Earlier this week, Howard appeared on Bravo's "Watch What Happens" with Andy Cohen <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/why-terrance-howard-replaced-iron-man-2-2013-11" target="_blank">revealing why he didn't appear in the second installment of "Iron Man."</a> The actor claimed the film's star Robert Downey Jr. pushed him out of the film, taking his paycheck. The media attention of the story could have helped boost interest in the film.
It goes without saying that "Thor 2" vs. "The Best Man Holiday" was the unlikeliest of box-office showdowns. Originally, Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" was expected to release this weekend. That film has been <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/wolf-of-wall-street-pushed-back-to-december-release-2013-10" target="_blank">pushed back now until December 25</a>.

Though the animated flick had a big weekend, the film didn't beat last year's Adam Sandler hit "Hotel Transylvania."
Also worth noting are James Gandolfini's movie "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=enoughsaid.htm" target="_blank">Enough Said</a>" received a huge boost this weekend.
After opening in 223 more theaters this week, the Fox Searchlight film earned $2.1 million.
Meanwhile, Josh Holloway's dance film "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=planetbboy3d.htm" target="_blank">Battle of the Year</a>" dropped out of the top ten in its second week. It's highly unlikely the film will meet it's estimated production budget of $20 million.
Here are this week's winners and losers at the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword>:
10. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=butler.htm" target="_blank">Lee Daniels' The Butler</a>" continues its run at theaters earning $2.4 million in week seven. The film has now earned $116 million worldwide.
9. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=werethemillers.htm" target="_blank">We're the Millers</a>" may have dropped three spots in theaters making $2.9 million this weekend, but the film has been making a killing for Warner Bros. Jennifer Aniston's comedy. In eight weeks, the film has made $237.8 million.
8. Lionsgate's indie flick "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=instructionsnotincluded.htm" target="_blank">Instructions Not Included</a>" brings in another $3.3 million giving the film a worldwide total of $50.1 million. The film is <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-milestone-instructions-not-638860" target="_blank">now the top-earning Spanish-language movie</a> in North America.
7. Robert De Niro's mob movie "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=malavita.htm" target="_blank">The Family</a>" dropped more than 47 percent in week two with $3.7 million. The film cost an estimated $30 million and has earned $31.7 million. 
6. Horror sequel "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=insidious2.htm" target="_blank">Insidious Chapter 2</a>" hasn't been holding up as well in followup weeks earning $6.7 million. That's fine as the Film District flick only cost an estimated $5 million to make. The "Insidious" sequel has more than made that money back with $78.8 million at theaters.
5. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=donjon.htm" target="_blank">Don Jon</a>" about an Italian Jersey guido addicted to porn opened to <a href="http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envelope/cotown/la-et-ct-box-office-rush-don-jon-baggage-cloudy-20130926,0,5607396.story" target="_blank">$9 million as expected</a>. While the film delivered Scarlett Johansson as promised in the trailer, the film took an unexpected turn. After seeing the flick which received a C+ CinemaScore rating, we're not so sure whether word of mouth will be great for this picture. The Relativity film's production budget is estimated at only $6 million. 
4. Taye Diggs' and Paula Patton's romantic comedy "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=main&amp;id=baggageclaim.htm" target="_blank">Baggage Claim</a>" just edged out "Don Jon" with $9.3 million. 
3. Ron Howard's Formula One racing film "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=rush2013.htm" target="_blank">Rush</a>" debuted to a reasonable $10.3 million. However, it will take a big hit next week when "Gravity" comes out.
2. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=prisoners.htm" target="_blank">Prisoners</a>" holds steady at second, but dipped nearly 50% from last week with $11.3 million. Hugh Jackman's thriller about his kidnapped daughter has earned $45 million worldwide.
1. The weekend went to the kids as the sequel to "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=cloudy2.htm" target="_blank">Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs</a>" ruled the box office with $35 million. While "Captain Phillips" and "<keyword id="87920" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="Gravity">Gravity</keyword>" may have led the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword>, it was a terrible first weekend for star-packed "<keyword id="1162576" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Machete-Kills">Machete Kills</keyword>." 
Robert Rodriguez's second film in the franchise bombed over the weekend despite Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Mel Gibson, and more appearing in the film.
How badly did it perform? Last week's bomb, "Runner, Runner" nearly performed better than it. 
Out of the top ten this week are "Lionsgate's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=pullingstrings.htm">Pulling Strings</a>" and James Gandolfini's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=enoughsaid.htm">Enough Said</a>." 
Here are this week's winners and losers in Hollywood: 
10 . "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=baggageclaim.htm">Baggage Claim</a>" barely makes it on the list with $2 million. Starring Taye Diggs and Paula Patton, the Fox Searchlight film brought in a poor $18.3 million in three weeks. 
9. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=donjon.htm">Don Jon</a>" brings in another $2.3 million this weekend This will probably be the final week for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's porn film in the top ten with new releases including a "Carrie" remake out next weekend. While JGL's directorial debut did well, the film may have made more if the advertising for the film - which was Scarlett-Johansson-centric - wasn't so much of a bait and switch. It came as a surprise when Julianne Moore - someone barely shown in the trailers - had a rather important and surprising role near the film's end. 
8. Formula One film "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=rush2013.htm">Rush</a>" is no hit here moving down another three spots this weekend grossing $2.4 million. However, the Ron Howard film does have some traction overseas. In four weeks, the film has earned nearly $70 million with the majority of its money ($47) coming from the foreign box office. 
7. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=insidious2.htm">Insidious 2</a>" moved down one spot with $3.6 million in week five. The film, which cost an estimated $5 million has brought in an impressive $104 million during its run in theaters so far. 
6. Hugh Jackman's performance in kidnapper film "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=prisoners.htm">Prisoners</a>" moves down two notches earning $3.67 million. For all the hype the movie has built, it has earned $76 million at theaters worldwide. 
5. Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake's high-stakes gambling game "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=runnerrunner.htm">Runner, Runner</a>" dropped another 51% with $3.7 million in its second week. Surprisingly, the film is making much more money overseas - a huge $31 million 
4. Despite opening in more than 2,500 theaters, "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=machete.htm" target="_blank">Machete Kills</a>" film brought in $3.8 million. That's significantly lower than the $11.4 million the original made upon its debut in 2010.
3. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=cloudy2.htm">Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2</a>" continues to reign in theaters for Sony with $14.2 million. The film will cross the $100 million mark worldwide this week. 
2. Tom Hanks' pirate film "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=captainphillips.htm">Captain Phillips</a>" took in a huge $26 million haul opening weekend. After a summer with a few disappointing film performances - "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=whitehousedown.htm" target="_blank">White House Down</a>" and "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=mortalinstruments.htm" target="_blank">The Mortal Instruments</a>" - Sony needed "Captain Phillips" to be a win. It delivered. 
1. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=gravity.htm">Gravity</a>" nearly did as well in its second weekend at the box office with a huge $44 million. That's only a 20% drop from what the film made opening weekend ($55 million). The George Clooney and Sandra Bullock film will make it to $200 million worldwide this week.

'Sleepless in Seattle'</h2><div type="image" title="sleepless in seattle" height="1466" width="2817" msid="80880377" hostid="261"></div>"Sleepless in Seattle I think is sort of, in my mind, the gold standard of romantic comedy," Han said of the 1993 movie directed and cowritten by Nora Ephron.The Oscar-nominated film starred Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan as love interests - and served as inspiration for one of the plot points in Han's third "TATB" book."It's unique in that the two leads only spend a few minutes together on-screen," the author told us. "But when they finally are together, it's very satisfying."<h2>3. "It's more of just coming-of-age."<h2>7. The Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck gambling movie bombed opening weekend, coming in third behind Alfonso Cuaron's space film and kid flick "Cloudy 2."
Early estimates <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/gravity-opening-weekend-prediction-2013-10" target="_blank">estimated the film would earn $11 million</a>.
Instead, it's Warner Bros. making the most impact in theaters right now with two popular films ("Gravity," "Prisoners"). 
Out of the top 10 this week were four films. "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=butler.htm">Lee Daniels' The Butler</a>" finally ended its run with $121.4 million after eight weeks. 
Robert De Niro's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=malavita.htm">The Family</a>" took a hard hit dropping six spots. The Relativity film has been in theaters for a month now earning $34.6 million. 
Also out of the top ten are indie success "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=instructionsnotincluded.htm">Instructions Not Included</a>" and "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=werethemillers.htm">We're the Millers</a>" which was a big success for Warner Bros. bringing in nearly $250 million.

9. Lionsgate's romantic comedy "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=pullingstrings.htm">Pulling Strings</a>" starring Tom Arnold opened to $2.5 million. 
8. Film District's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=insidious2.htm">Insidious Chapter 2</a>" continues to perform well earning another $3.9 million during its fourth week in theaters. The $5 million horror flick is out-performing the <a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=insidious.htm">original</a> (which cost $1.5 million to make). After four weekends, the original film earned $43 million. The sequel made $40 million opening weekend and has now earned $87 million worldwide. Still, the film shouldn't make more than Warner Bros.' summer scare "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/chart/?id=paraconjuring.htm">The Conjuring</a>." 
7. Fox Searchlight's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=baggageclaim.htm">Baggage Claim</a>" falls three spots in week two with $4.1 million despite an addition of 203 theaters. Starring Paula Patton, Adam Brody, and Taye Diggs, the film has made $15 million at theaters. 
6. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=donjon.htm">Don Jon</a>" dropped 52% in week two with $4.2 million. The movie cost $6 million to make and has made $17.6 million. 
5. With the star power of Chris Hemsworth ("Thor"), Ron Howard's Formula One racing film "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=rush2013.htm">Rush</a>" dropped two spots earning $4.4 million. Though the $38 million movie has only made $18 million domestically, it's earning most of its money - $30 million so far - overseas. 
4. Warner Bros.' thriller "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=prisoners.htm">Prisoners</a>" featuring Hugh Jackman as a desperate father searching for his missing child continues to perform well with $5.7 million in week three. The film, which cost an estimated $46 million, has earned $62 million to date. 
3. Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=runnerrunner.htm">Runner, Runner</a>" did not take off the ground earning a sour $7.6 million. This was kind of surprising since the marketing for the Brad Furman film was there. It was easy for the film to get lost since it was directly competing for the same audience as Warner Bros.' tentpole "Gravity" this weekend. It also didn't help that the film received a "C" CinemaScore from viewers. Despite its low opening weekend, the film is faring better overseas. 
2. As the only kid's flick in theaters right now, "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=cloudy2.htm">Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2</a>" stays strong in its second week earning $21.5 million. The film cost slightly less <a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=cloudywithachanceofmeatballs.htm">than its 2009 predecessor</a> ($78 million v. $100 million). The film still has a way to go to reach the original film's $243 million earnings, but right now it looks like it could be one of <a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/franchises/chart/?id=sonyanimation.htm">Sony's highest-earning kid flicks</a>, reaching the popularity of "The Smurfs" and even "Hotel Transylvania." 
1. It was an easy win for Alfonso Cuaron's space odyssey "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=gravity.htm" target="_blank">Gravity</a>" this weekend. It was predicted to earn north of $40 million and instead surged past that number with a huge $55.6 million. That number easily broke the highest-opening weekend ever in October passing previous record holder, 2011's "<a href="http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=paranormalactivity.htm" target="_blank">Paranormal Activity</a>" ($52.6 million).
