The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 5,496.04 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing. Total consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,19,986.31 crore, as compared to Rs 1,05,932.35 crore in the year-ago period. In <keyword id="20028449" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Q4" source="keywords">Q4</keyword> FY24, Tata Motors said all three auto businesses delivered strong performance. The company's British arm Jaguar Land Rover had "another record-breaking quarter in Q4 FY24. Revenue for the quarter was 7.9 billion pounds, up 11 per cent versus Q4 FY23", Tata Motors said. JLR's Profit After Tax (PAT) in Q4 was 1.4 billion pounds as against a profit of 259 million pounds in the same quarter a year ago, it added. The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per ordinary share and Rs 3.10 per 'A' ordinary share and a special dividend of Rs 3 per ordinary share and Rs 3.10 per 'A' ordinary share subject to approval by the shareholders. For the fiscal ended March 31, 2024, consolidated net profit was at Rs 31,806.75 crore as compared to Rs 2,689.87 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said. In FY24, total consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 4,37,927.77 crore as compared to Rs 3,45,966.97 crore in FY23. <keyword id="20430970" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="tata-motors-group" source="keywords">Tata Motors Group</keyword> Chief Financial Officer, PB Balaji said in FY24 the Tata Motors Group delivered its highest-ever revenues, profits, and free cash flows. "The India business is now debt-free, and we are on track to become net automotive debt-free on a consolidated basis in FY25. The businesses are executing well on their distinct strategies and therefore, we are confident of sustaining this strong performance in the coming years," he added. JLR's revenues for FY24 were 29 billion pounds, its highest-ever full-year revenue and up 27 per cent compared to the prior year, while PAT for FY24 was 2.6 billion pounds. "We have delivered a record financial performance for the company, generating free cash flow of 2.3 billion pound, enabling us to reduce net debt to 0.7 billion pound," JLR Chief Executive Officer Adrian Mardell said. The foundation of this performance was the sustained global demand for JLR's modern luxury vehicles, led by Range Rover and Defender brands, underpinned by a consistent focus on operational improvement, he added. Tata Commercial Vehicles' Q4 FY24 revenue was at Rs 21,600 crore, while FY24 revenue was Rs 78,800 crore. In Q4 FY24, domestic wholesale commercial vehicles (CV) volumes were 1,04,600 units, lower 7 per cent year-on-year on account of increased pre-buy in Q4 FY23 due to BS6 Phase II transition, the company said. Tata Motors Ltd Executive Director Girish Wagh said the Indian CV industry grew by a modest 2 per cent in volumes during FY24, impacted by a high base effect of FY23, elections held across five states and the announcement of general elections. "Our sharp focus on profitable growth resulted in the CV business recording its highest-ever revenues of Rs 78,800 crore and profits of Rs 6,100 crore in FY24. Going forward, we will intensify our efforts to grow market share, profitably and consistently, in every business segment by delivering more value to customers with innovative products, smarter services and holistic mobility solutions," he added. Tata Passenger Vehicles clocked revenue of Rs 14,400 crore in Q4 while for the full year FY24 it was at Rs 52,400 crore. In Q4, Passenger Vehicle (PV) volumes were at 1,55,600 units, up 14.8 per cent from the year-ago period, supported by new SUV facelifts and multiple power trains, the company said. "Passenger vehicle sales in India set a record in FY24 with over 4.2 million units sold, driven by SUVs (50 per cent of overall sales) and emission-friendly powertrains. Tata Motors recorded its third consecutive year of highest sales volumes with 6 per cent growth in wholesales and 10 per cent in retail sales over FY23," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Managing Director Shailesh Chandra said. The company sold 73,800 EVs during the year, marking a 48 per cent increase as compared to FY23 and crossed a milestone of 1.5 lakh cumulative EV production, he added. Tata Motors Q4 consolidated net profit jumps over 3-fold at ₹17,528.59 crore

Home-grown auto major Tata Motors on Tuesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 7,585 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 9,864 crore in the January-March period of FY2019-20, Tata Motors said in a BSE filing. The auto major's total income in the fourth quarter of FY'21 stood at Rs 89,319 crore. It was at Rs 63,057 crore in the year-ago quarter. For the entire 2020-21 fiscal, the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 13,395 crore, against a net loss of Rs 11,975 crore in 2019-20. Its total income stood at Rs 2,52,438 crore for the last financial year as against Rs 2,64,041 crore in FY'20. New Delhi, Apr 20 () Tata Motors on Monday said its group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, stood at at 2,31,929 units in the January-March quarter, lower by 35 per cent over last year. The company said its global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2019-20 were at 1,59,321 units lower by 26 per cent from the year-ago period, Tata Motors said in a statement. Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 1,26,979 units. Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 32,940 units, while Land Rover wholesales were at 94,039 units. In the commercial vehicles segment, global wholesales of all Tata Motors and Tata Daewoo range in Q4 FY20 were at 72,608 units, lower by 49 per cent from Q4 FY19, the company said. RKL DRRDRR

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 336 crore in the January-March period of the previous fiscal. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 10,042 crore in the period under review compared with Rs 8,031 crore in the fourth quarter of FY23. In the fourth quarter, the company said its overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, grew by 22 per cent to 10.63 lakh units compared to 8.68 lakh units in the same period of the 2022-23 fiscal. For the year ended on March 31, 2024, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,686 crore as against Rs 1,329 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 39,145 crore in FY24 over Rs 31,974 crore in the 2022-23 fiscal. TVS Motor Company net profit rises 15% to ₹387 crore in March quarter

Homegrown auto major <keyword id="42747" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tata-Motors">Tata Motors</keyword> on Monday reported narrowing of consolidated net loss at ₹4,450.12 crore in the quarter ended June 2021. The company had posted a consolidated net loss of ₹8,443.98 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations during the period under review stood at ₹66,406.05 crore as against ₹31,983.06 crore in the year-ago period, the company added. British arm <keyword id="42034" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jaguar">Jaguar</keyword> <keyword id="44719" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Land-Rover">Land Rover</keyword> (<keyword id="45218" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="JLR">JLR</keyword>) posted revenue of 5 billion pounds in the first quarter, up 73.7 per cent than Q1 in the prior year, the company said, adding JLR had a pre-tax loss of 110 million pounds. JLR retail sales in the first quarter were 1,24,537 vehicles, up 68.1 per cent year-on-year as sales continued to recover from the impact of the pandemic but shortage of semiconductor supplies constrained production. Commenting on the performance, JLR CEO Thierry Bollore said, "We are pleased to see a continuing positive recovery from the pandemic, with year-on-year growth in all regions, demonstrating the appeal of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles." Though the current environment continues to remain challenging, he said, "We will continue to adapt and manage elements that are within our control and ensure that Jaguar Land Rover is well-placed to respond to any further market developments." On a standalone basis, Tata Motors said its continuing business posted a net loss of ₹1,320.74 crore, putting up a better performance from a net loss of ₹2,190.64 crore in the year-ago period. Standalone total revenue from operations stood at ₹11,904.19 crore as against Rs 2,686.87 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said. "In Q1FY22 wholesales, including exports, increased 351.4 per cent to 1,14,170 units. The volumes across all segments significantly grew as compared to Q1 FY21, however they were lower than Q4 FY21 due to the lockdowns imposed due to the second wave of pandemic," Tata Motors said. Company Executive Director Girish <keyword id="1316783" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="Wagh">Wagh</keyword> said the successful implementation of a comprehensive 'Business Agility' plan enabled it to manage lockdowns effectively and also deliver competitive growth as markets reopened. "In the near term, we remain focused on fulfilling customer demands while driving all levers of the business to mitigate the unprecedented commodity inflation," he added. Looking beyond the short-term challenges, Wagh said, "We see significant opportunities to leverage the mega trends shaping the Indian automotive industry." Tata Motors’ net loss narrows on strong growth in exports

Luxury carmaker <keyword id="6363321" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="audi" source="Orion">Audi</keyword> on Wednesday said it will increase prices of its model range by up to 1.7 %, with effect from January 1, 2023. The company said it is hiking the prices due to an increase in input and operational costs. "The primary objective of the company's business strategy focuses on a model that begets profitability and sustainability. The price correction is affected as a result of the rising supply-chain-related input and operational costs," <keyword id="5176836" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="audi-india-head" source="Orion">Audi India Head</keyword> Balbir Singh Dhillon said in a statement. Audi to hike vehicle prices by up to 1.7% in India from January 2023

Total domestic sales were at 72,647 units last month as compared to 73,467 units in November 2022, down 1 per cent, <keyword id="8555" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="tata" source="Orion">Tata</keyword> Motors said in a regulatory filing. Overall sales of passenger vehicles (PV), including electric vehicles (EV) were at 46,143 units as against 46,425 units in the year-ago month, down 1 per cent, it added. In the domestic market, PV sales, including EVs were marginally higher at 46,068 units last month as compared to 46,037 units in November 2022. Sales of passenger EVs, including in the domestic market, stood at 4,761 units as against 4,451 units in the year-ago month, up 7 per cent, the company said. Tata Motors said its total commercial vehicles (CV) sales in November 2023 were at 28,029 units as compared to 29,053 units in the same month last year, down 4 per cent. Domestic CV sales were lower by 3 per cent at 26,579 units as compared to 27,430 units in the year-ago month, it added. According to the group, global wholesales of all <keyword id="42747" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tata-Motors">Tata Motors</keyword>' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in Q1 FY21 declined by 89 per cent to 11,598 units over Q1 FY20. "Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q1 FY21 were at 79,996, lower by 49 per cent compared with Q1 FY20," the company said in a statement on Friday. Furthermore, global wholesales for Jaguar <keyword id="44719" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Land-Rover">Land Rover</keyword> stood at 65,425 vehicles.
