On being asked if he would want the movie, which is an adaptation of a fictional book character, to be turned into a franchise, he said, "We would love to (make it a franchise), but we are waiting for the first film to do well. This is because - fortunately or unfortunately - a film like this has not yet been made." 
 
Talking further, he said, "If the audiences' hunger and thirst for such films increases and our first Byomkesh story catches on, then our franchise is ready and we would love this franchise to go forward." 
 Created by the Bengali writer <keyword id="1641501" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Saradindu-Bandyopadhyay">Saradindu Bandyopadhyay</keyword>, Byomkesh Bakshy is a fictional character, a young Bengali detective. Bandyopadhyay wrote as many as 32 stories involving the character from 1932 until his death in 1970, leaving one story, <keyword id="2760413" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bishupal-Bodh">Bishupal Bodh</keyword>, incomplete. 
 The movie, which has been produced by Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee productions, features actor <keyword id="6356062" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sushant-Singh-Rajput">Sushant Singh Rajput</keyword> in the title role and is slated to release on April 3.

"We have not found any suicide note at the spot. It seems to be suicide case. It is suspected that he hanged himself two days back. His body was discovered by the building's watchman, who peeped through the kitchen window and saw him hanging. He then alerted members of the society who informed the police. Police rushed to the spot and took Sharma to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, another official said. Efforts were on to get in touch with the family of the actor, who had been living alone since February, he said. Based on primary information, an Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered, Fernandes said, adding that further investigations are underway. On July 27, Sharma posted his last words on Instagram with a poem on death and dreams. "I built my pyre and slept on it and with my fire it was lit. And all that was me I burned in it. I killed my dream to wake up from it. Now my dream is gone," he wrote on his page. After that, he posted some photographs but no written content. His bio on Instagram reads "Actor. Writer. Poet" and mostly has shots of beaches and videos of him driving to scenic places. Sharma's death comes at a time the entertainment industry is reeling from the shock of the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found hanging at his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14. Rajput's death, which will now be investigated by the CBI, exposed many faultlines in the industry. "Depression is a lonely disease," Sharma had posted after Rajput's death. "Biopolar Disorder, Depression, and Schizophrenia etc. do you know or understand what that means or feels like? No you don't, unless you've been through it yourself. And anybody who hasn't, will never ever be able to understand what that feels like," he wrote on July 22. Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra, who worked with Sharma in "Hasee toh Phasee", condoled the actor's death. Sharing a picture with Sharma from the film, Malhotra wrote, "Really sad and unfortunate #RIPSameerSharma." Following a petition, a court has recently restrained the makers of the film from releasing on July 3 till further orders. The court has observed that it might “hurt religious sentiments of the people” and said it should not hit theatres till the alleged offensive scenes and dialogues are edited. The film is based in the locality of Assi Ghat in the holy city of Varanasi. It is, reportedly, based on 2004 Hindi novel 'Kashi Ka Assi' written by Kashinath Singh. The movie also stars Ravi Kishan, Sakshi Tanwar in lead roles.

Police lodged complaints against the film under Sections 153-A, 295-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). According to the petitioner, actor <keyword id="106133" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Ranveer-Singh">Ranveer Singh</keyword>, who played the role of Ram in the film, was a womanizer and his role was a character assassination of Lord <keyword id="52950" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rama">Rama</keyword>. He played the role of a Sikh protagonist in the movie. Being a producer, he assured the <keyword id="54270" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Shiromani-Gurdwara-Parbandhak-Committee">Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee</keyword> (SGPC) that the objectionable elements would be removed before its release. The actor also promised that a print of the film would be sent to the SGPC before the release. The story was an adaptation of a successful Gujarati play, which also became a hit in Hindi and Marathi languages. Directed by Umesh Shukla, the movie was released on September 28, 2012. An FIR was later lodged against the director, producers and actors of the film for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of the people. The movie also stars actors <keyword id="6357914" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Paresh-Rawal">Paresh Rawal</keyword> and <keyword id="14672" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Mithun-Chakraborty">Mithun Chakraborty</keyword>.

Netizens also sought answers to questions like 'Which mask is best for coronavirus?', 'How did New Zealand defeat coronavirus?', 'How many days symptoms of coronavirus?' and 'How many deaths from coronavirus in all world?', the data showed. Coronavirus-centric searches in June dropped 66 per cent from May, but volumes remained more than double that of February, it added. The top trending coronavirus searches were 'coronavirus news' and 'vaccine for coronavirus latest update'. "'Patanjali corona medicine', 'Global vaccine summit' and 'Dexamethasone' were all breakout vaccine-related searches in June," Google said. The state/union territory with the highest search interest for coronavirus in June was Goa, followed by Delhi and Chandigarh. The late actor Sushant Singh Rajput emerged as the top trending topic in the country in June. Interest for Rajput spiked sharply on June 14 to reach an all-time high nationally.
