Despite Delhi High Court's order to restrain from making defamatory statements against the company and its executives amid the ongoing Rs 88.6 crore fraud case, former <keyword id="7349800" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="bharatpe" source="Orion">BharatPe</keyword> Co-founder and Managing Director <keyword id="2988161" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ashneer-grover" source="Orion">Ashneer Grover</keyword> on Monday took a serious dig at CEO <keyword id="4534514" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="suhail-sameer" source="Orion">Suhail Sameer</keyword>, saying the CEO allegedly spent money on personal expenditures that he raised, but is unable to help the fintech firm grow. In a tweet, <keyword id="3433" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="grover" source="Orion">Grover</keyword> alleged that Sameer allegedly spent money raised by him to travel to Australia for the recently-concluded T20 World Cup. The Delhi Hight Court last week issued notice and summons to BharatPe's former Managing Director and his kin in a plea filed by the company, seeking orders to restrain them from making defamatory statements against the company. In April this year, Grover had threatened legal action against CEO Sameer and the board for his comments on professional networking platform LinkedIn against his sister Ashima Grover, along with seeking a resignation from Chairman Rajnish Kumar. Grover last week attacked the fintech platform's co-founder Shashvat Nakrani, saying he once asked him to bunk office for a whole year in order to complete his IIT degree while remaining on the payroll. He also alleged that his book "Doglapan" created panic among BharatPe executives and this is the reason the fintech company had apparently filed cases against him. <keyword id="6354185" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="IT">IT</keyword> industry would produce maximum number of <keyword id="11018" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jobs">jobs</keyword> in the second half of 2015, the <keyword id="3021389" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="NaukriHiring">NaukriHiring</keyword> Outlook Survey August 2015 has revealed. According to the survey 41 per cent of recruiters and consultants see maximum hiring potential in this industry. 

	66 per cent of recruiters expect new jobs to be created in the second half of 2015, a slight dip compared to the 69 per cent in the first half of 2015.
 

	The half yearly survey which gauges the hiring sentiment across sectors and industries, was conducted amongst more than 1900 recruiters and consultants. 
 

	A similar trend was seen in the BFSI sector as well, where the percentage slipped from 28 per cent in the previous period to 19 per cent in the current period. The percentage of participants expecting new jobs to be created in the manufacturing sector remained constant at 26 per cent. The top five sectors from a perspective of job creation are IT, followed by manufacturing, retail, ITeS and BFSI. 
 

	"The growth in hiring activity is led by the BFSI and IT industries and is most likely to continue in favour of jobseekers. The increase in opportunities has led to higher increments in certain industry segments. The crunch for mid and senior level talent, however, continues," Sumeet Singh, EVP - Marketing and Corporate Communications, Info Edge (India) told PTI.

Kuaishou's deal, at the top end, will be the largest IPO in the world of a digital company since Uber Technologies raised $8.1 billion in May 2019.Kuaishou, which means "fast hand" in Chinese, operates apps that allow user-uploaded videos as well as live-streaming programs through which vendors can promote consumer products.The final IPO price will be set on Friday and Kuaishou shares will start trading on the Hong Kong exchange on February 5.Kuaishou reported an adjusted revenue of 40.6 billion yuan ($6.27 billion) in the nine months to September 30 last year and an adjusted loss of 7.2 billion yuan, according to its filings to the Hong Kong exchange."The company used to make a profit but it ramped up its sales and marketing spending in 2019 and went into a loss," said Sumeet Singh, head of research at Aequitas, who publishes on the Smartkarma platform."This spending should normalise over the next few years and it will be back in the black, competition permitting," he said."In our view, looking at where domestic and international peers are trading Kuaishou still offers decent upside from the IPO price."

Merchant payment and lending service provider <keyword id="7349800" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="bharatpe">BharatPe</keyword> on Thursday said it has acquired <keyword id="1917213" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="PAYBACK-India">Payback India</keyword> from <keyword id="91294" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="American-Express">American Express</keyword> and ICICI Investments Strategic Fund. The company, however, did not disclose the financial details of the transaction. This is the first-ever acquisition by BharatPe and will make Payback <keyword id="3658" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="India">India</keyword> a wholly-owned subsidiary of BharatPe, a statement said. Payback India - launched in 2010 - is a multi-brand loyalty programme with over 100 million members in the country. It has a network of more than 100 offline and online partners and allows its customers to earn and redeem points on every transaction at its partner merchant outlets. The acquisition of Payback India is in line with BharatPe's strategy to build a robust and engaged network of over 20 million small merchants by 2023, the statement said. With Payback India, BharatPe will be able to enhance its value proposition for the merchant partners, it added. Additionally, it will enable BharatPe to build a lucrative set of offerings for end customers, that will enhance footfalls at merchants and accelerate the growth of their businesses. As a result of the acquisition, all Payback India employees will become part of the BharatPe group. Suhail Sameer and Gautam <keyword id="2220" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kaushik">Kaushik</keyword> (Group Presidents at BharatPe) along with Sumeet Singh, General Counsel of BharatPe, have joined the Board of Payback India. The role of the senior leadership team at Payback India will be expanded to also work on the loyalty programme for the six-million plus merchants of BharatPe, it added. The team, led by Pramod Mahanta (MD Payback India) and Rijish Raghavan (Chief Executive Officer at Payback India), will be working closely with Gautam Kaushik to build a new version of Payback India. Notably, Kaushik was the CEO and MD of Payback India prior to joining BharatPe in February this year. The company (Payback India) will continue operating under its current name and there will be no impact on the existing customer and partner relationships with Payback India that will continue to roll out initiatives for customers across India, the statement noted. "With the acquisition of Payback India, we will be able to add a whole new dimension to our merchant value proposition. In addition to the range of payment and credit products which BharatPe offers to help merchants scale their business, we will also be able to drive more consumers to their stores," BharatPe co-founder and CEO Ashneer Grover said. He added that the company is committed to build India's largest and most engaged merchant network and this acquisition will be a "game-changer" in that regard. Founded in 2018 by Ashneer Grover and Shashvat Nakrani, the company currently serves over 60 lakh merchants across 100 cities. It processes over 10 crore UPI transactions per month (annualised Transaction Processed Value of more than USD 10 billion) and facilitated disbursement of loans totaling to over Rs 1,600 crores to its merchants since launch.
