The letter includes statements to the effect that the brothers appoint each other as their executors, and that assets held in any single brother's name belong to all four. "In summary, SP seeks a declaration that neither document has legal effect, whether as a will, power of attorney, declaration of trust or other binding document, or alternatively that the documents are revocable and have been revoked," <keyword id="9455060" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="justice-sarah-falk">Justice Sarah Falk</keyword> notes in her judgment on Tuesday. "Additional relief is also sought, in particular an injunction restraining use of the documents and an account of the persons to whom the documents have been submitted and steps taken in reliance on them," she notes. Presiding over a private hearing in the Chancery Division of the High Court, Justice Falk also partially ruled against a privacy order in the case and agreed for S P Hinduja's daughter, Vinoo, to act on her father's behalf as his "litigation friend" and safeguard her father's interests due to his ill health as a result of a form of dementia. "I have concluded that the court should exercise its power under CPR 21.6 to appoint Vinoo as SP's litigation friend...There is no evidence to indicate that Vinoo's statement that her father has asked her to act for him in the proceedings because he is unable to do so is anything other than accurate," the ruling notes. The High Court judgment makes references to the family's other legal proceedings, including over Hinduja Bank in Switzerland and confidential proceedings in Jersey. It also notes that the three defending brothers contend that they have been prevented from seeing their eldest brother, Srichand P Hinduja, for some time. "It will be apparent from the judgment of the High Court in England, that Mr S P Hinduja's health has been deteriorating for a number of years suffering from Lewy Body disease, which is a form of dementia. Vinoo, his younger daughter, acting as his Litigation Friend is bringing these proceedings on his behalf," said a joint statement by G P, P P and A P Hinduja. "It is very unfortunate that these proceedings are taking place as they go against our Founder's and family's values and principles that have stood for many decades, especially, 'everything belongs to everyone and nothing belongs to anyone'. We intend to defend the claim to uphold these dearly held family values," they note. Referring to the issue as "private family matters" now subject to litigation, they add: "We would also stress that this litigation will not have any impact on our global businesses, which will continue to function as they have been." Adani Enterprises Ltd, the flagship firm of <keyword id="21718" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="asia" source="Orion">Asia</keyword>'s richest person, will raise funds through the issue of fresh equity shares, it said in a stock exchange filing. The public offering will help Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), which is the business incubator for the group and currently houses businesses from civil aviation to data centres, diversify the shareholder base and build its credibility and acceptance among investors. Promoters currently hold 72.63 per cent shares of AEL. Of the remaining 27.37 per cent, almost 20 per cent is held by insurance companies and foreign portfolio investors. Shares of AEL have more than doubled in the last year, giving it a market value of Rs 4.46 lakh crore. Benchmark S&amp;P BSE Sensex index has risen just 5.4 per cent over the same period. In the stock exchange filing, AEL said its board of directors met on Friday and approved the "raising of funds by way of a further public offering through a fresh issue of equity shares by the company aggregating up to Rs 20,000 crore." The company will seek shareholder approval for the offering through a postal ballot. The Adani group has previously stated that it is working on plans to increase the free float. Adani started AEL in 1988 with the commodity trading business and used it as an incubator of new businesses before spinning them off into separately listed firms. The group now has a significant presence in ports, airports, roads, power, renewable energy, electricity transmission, gas distribution, real estate, FMCG, cement and financial services. Recently, the group also entered the media business. Ports, power, transmission, green energy, gas and edible oil businesses are separately listed companies. The group has made forays into a diverse array of businesses with dealmaking in recent months. It recently acquired Holcim Ltd's India cement units for USD 10.5 billion, India's second-biggest deal of the year. ​The country's economy faced a 'tough year' due to the government's disruptive policies like the recent demonetisation drive, a global rich list report said on Tuesday. 
 
According to the Hurun Global Rich List India, the demonetisation drive which started on November 8, 2016 eroded the wealth of 11 individuals to below the threshold limit of $1 billion. 
 
The report featured 132 Indian-origin billionnaires with a wealth of $1 bilion or more. 
 
"India had a tough year because of disruptive government policies such as demonetisation drive," said Anas Rahman Junaid, Managing Director and Chief Researcher, Hurun Report India. 
 
"However, on a long term perspective, we do believe that such transparent currency economics will have a positive impact for the entrepreneurs." 
 The list ranked <keyword id="6355199" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-Industries">Reliance Industries</keyword> Chairman <keyword id="3820" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mukesh-Ambani">Mukesh Ambani</keyword>, 59 as the richest Indian. Ambani topped the list of 132 individuals with a fortune of Rs 175,400 crore ($26 billion). 
 
"In addition to his aggressive plans for his oil business, Mukesh Ambani is now focusing on his new telecom venture, Jio, which has acquired more than 100 crore customers in less than 6 months," the report said. 
 "This aggressive price war has dragged down other local players such as Idea, Airtel; In fact Idea registered a record loss of Rs 384 crore in Q3 2016 and is planning on a merger with <keyword id="15492" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vodafone">Vodafone</keyword> to survive the competition." 
 
Besides, with a net worth of Rs 101,000 crore ($14 billion), S.P. Hinduja and family, the business tycoon and the primary shareholder and Chairman of Hinduja Group was ranked as the second richest. 
 Hinduja was followed by the Founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals <keyword id="207035" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dilip-Shanghvi">Dilip Shanghvi</keyword>, 60. 
 "India's richest pharma magnate and the founder of <keyword id="44642" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sun-Pharma">Sun Pharma</keyword>ceuticals, drops to 3rd position because of a 22 per cent decline in his wealth of Rs 99,000 crore ($14bn), fuelled by 18 per cent drop of Sun Pharma shares," the report cited. 
 Indian construction tycoon <keyword id="6689214" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pallonji-Mistry">Pallonji Mistry</keyword>, 86, came at the fourth position with a fortune of Rs 82,700 crore ($12 billion) equalling the entire market capitalisation of <keyword id="42747" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tata-Motors">Tata Motors</keyword>, one of India's largest automaker. 
 
"Cyrus Mistry's removal as the Chairman of Tata Sons' has cast a shadow on the ties between the two families and hence the dispute has affected value of his 18 per cent stake in Tata Sons," the report observed.
