Khan and Prabhudheva reunited for this project after Wanted in 2009. Dabangg 3 will launch a fresh face - Saiee -- the daughter of actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar. The budding actress will play the love interest of superstar Salman Khan's character, Chulbul Pandey. In the last ten years, Khan has many superhits tucked under his belt like Ek Tha Tiger, and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai, Dabangg series, besides Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Both Dabangg and Dabangg 2 have earned as much as ₹100 crores. The first movie of the series Dabangg was the highest opener of all time in the country with a collection of ₹145 million, and it collected a total of ₹2.19 billion. Excitingly, Priyanka Chopra is leading the race with a monthly search volume of more than 4.2 million, however, Salman Khan has over 2 million monthly searches. The study has two segments bifurcated into Indian actors and actresses. Considering segments individually, the top three most popular actors are Salman Khan, Amrish Puri and Shahrukh Khan. The latter two were searched an average of 1.7 million times respectively. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra, Sunny Leone, and Deepika Padukone are the leading ladies on the list. Another fascinating fact revealed in this case study is that Madhubala is the 6th most eminent actress with 1.3 million monthly global searches wherein Leone and Padukone have been searched over 3 million and 1.8 million times respectively. The movie which was released a week ago, grossed ₹126.65 crore as of now. It had collected ₹7 crore more on its first day than Good Newwz but might struggle to retain audience amidst competition. However, as of now Good Newwz’s total collection is half the business of the Khan movie. “The trend over the weekend is strong and the film (Good Newwz) should be able to hold up well on Monday and then take benefit of the holiday factor on Tuesday and Wednesday,” reported Box office India. Police, protests and Salman Khan Though Akshay and Salman starrers did not release on the same day, second week collection is key to Dabangg’s success. Its first week earnings were marred by anti CAA protests across the country - replete with section 144, bundhs and internet shutdowns. Dabangg3 which earned ₹73 crore on its first weekend, could have earned ₹85 crore if not for the protests, <a href="https://www.boxofficeindia.com/report-details.php?articleid=5755">experts believe</a>. The anger against police cracking down on university students also did not bring footfalls to watch the cop caper. The third installment of the movie which tells the backstory of Chulbul Pandey, also suffered from a weak script. More bad newzz for Salman Khan as Akshay’s movie cuts into his Dabangg earnings

Convicted of killing one person and injuring 5 others, a <keyword id="2838854" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Sessions-Court-in-Bombay">Sessions Court in Bombay</keyword> today sentenced <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword> to 5 years in jail, with no more compensation required to be paid to the victims’ families. Given that the jail term exceeds 3 years, there will be no immediate bail provided. Salman’s team of defence counsel will have to appeal to the <keyword id="48485" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bombay-high-court">Bombay High Court</keyword>. It is unlikely that the Bombay High Court will be able to hear the bail plea today. The Bombay High Court is also expected to go on vacation in a few days, while the <keyword id="166190" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="vacation-judge">vacation judge</keyword> has limited powers. At best, it could be a few days to weeks for Salman behind bars before he manages to get out on bail. 
Salman Khan, now, is likely to be taken for finger printing, followed by a medical check-up, post which he will be sent behind bars. But this is not Salman’s last legal resort. Post securing the bail, he has the option of appealing against the <keyword id="6366930" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Session-Court">Session Court</keyword>’s judgement at the Bombay High Court. Even after that, the last resort would be an appeal at the country’s apex court, the <keyword id="6354977" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Supreme-Court">Supreme Court</keyword>. 
Salman has been found guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Salman’s counsel is expected to move the Bombay High Court now, having already come prepared for the worst. This despite his counsel trying its best to ensure that Salman didn’t get sentenced to more than 2 years in jail. Earlier in the day, Salman’s defence pleaded for a lenient jail term of 2 years with a hefty fine/compensation for the affected peoples’ families. The pleas that the superstar’s counsel made were primarily on two grounds. First, that this incident was mainly an aberration to the ‘human’ personality that Salman Khan is. The counsel pleaded to the Judge to consider the ‘humanitarian’ work that Salman has been doing bringing about such positive changes to several lives. The counsel even pleaded, “Don’t punish him more just because he is an <keyword id="271" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="actor">actor</keyword>.” 
The second and more important plea being made pertains again to two very high profile hit and run cases similar to this one. The first being the 1998 Sanjeev Nanda BMW case where Nanda ran over and killed six people including 3 police officers in Delhi and the second one being the Alistair Pereira case in Mumbai, where the latter mowed down and killed 7 people on the pavement. In both cases the Supreme Court handed out jail terms of 2 and 3 years respectively, despite the accused being under the influence of alcohol and behind the wheels when the incidents occurred. In the meanwhile, the court dismissed any perjury case to be filed against Salman’s <keyword id="6366401" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Driver">driver</keyword> <keyword id="167070" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Ashok-Singh">Ashok Singh</keyword>.

The total day 1 collection of the film is Rs 44.50 Cr (Hindi + dubbed), as per a statement shared by YRF. Undoubtedly, the film did a great business despite Diwali day. Tiger 3 is the third installment of the Tiger franchise and a part of the YRF Spy Universe with the likes of War and Pathaan. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Interestingly, it also has cameo appearances of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish 3' previously held the record for the highest Diwali day collection by a single movie. The superhero film netted Rs 15 crore on Diwali day, which was the film's third day. 'Tiger 3' has become the biggest opener for Khan after the 2019 film Bharat which earned Rs 42.30 crore. The film is helmed by Maneesh Sharma. Just like it's two previous instalments - Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai - the film focuses on a new mission involving RA&amp;W agent Tiger (Salman) and ISI agent Zoya (Katrina Kaif). The first part 'Ek Tha Tiger', which came in 2012, was directed by Kabir Khan. In 2017, the franchise expanded with 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The second part was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Prior to the film's release, In an interview with Variety, Salman recalled shooting the most challenging aspect of the 'Tiger 3' shoot. He shared, "The bike chasing scene was the toughest - I think! It was a massive block of shoot and it had to be impactful so Maneesh [director Maneesh Sharma] and I discussed this at length and then collectively we all worked towards achieving this," he said during an exclusive conversation with Variety. The actor further shared, "I quite enjoyed shooting for "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam" in Cappadocia. It is a dance track that I personally love. Production banner Yash Raj Films in a media statement stated about the two songs sung by Arijit in "Tiger 3". The first song "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam", a dance number featuring Salman and <keyword id="6354850" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="katrina-kaif" source="Orion">Katrina Kaif</keyword>, will be out on Monday. The second song is a romantic track. <keyword id="12352996" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="pritam" source="Orion">Pritam</keyword>, the composer of "Tiger 3", expressed his excitement about the first partnership between the two renowned performers. "It was a collaboration that was waiting to happen. Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars and Arijit Singh, our generation's top singing sensation. These two stalwarts coming together for a song was long overdue and we are thrilled that it is happening for 'Tiger 3'," Pritam said in a statement. The third installment in the "Tiger" franchise is directed by Maneesh Sharma. The spy-thriller will see Salman and Katrina reprising their roles. Everything now boils down to how many years will he have to serve in prison. The biggest and the most serious charge that he has been found guilty of is under Section 304(2) of the IPC, which pertains to culpable homicide not amounting to murder that carries with it a maximum jail term of 10 years. 
 
While the sentencing is awaited today, Salman’s defence have been pleading for a lenient jail term of 2 years with a hefty fine/compensation for the affected peoples’ families. The pleas that the superstar’s counsel is making are primarily on two grounds. First, that this incident was mainly an aberration to the ‘human’ personality that Salman Khan is. The counsel have been pleading to the Judge to consider the ‘humanitarian’ work that Salman has been doing which has been bringing about such positive changes to several lives. This despite, Salman giving strict instructions to his counsel not to publicize or use his humanitarian work as a reason for lowering his jail term. The defense told the court, "Don't punish him more just because he is an actor. Enhance the fine but don't punish him beyond 3 years."

The counsel has argued that in both the above cases 6-7 people were killed with no signs of any compensation to the affected people's families, while this incident involves the death of only one person and a compensation pacjkage of Rs 19 lakh that has already been paid by Salman to the concerned people. 
 The prosecution, in the meanwhile, has pleaded with the judge to hand out the most stringent punishment, not taking his social work into consideration. As per the report, the brand value in monetary terms, basis the engagement and followers for <keyword id="7099679" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Priyanka-Chopra-Jonas">Priyanka Chopra Jonas</keyword> stood at INR 2.65 billion, for <keyword id="2823" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Akshay-Kumar">Akshay Kumar</keyword> at INR 2.60 billion, followed by <keyword id="6354583" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="salman-khan">Salman Khan</keyword> at INR 2.52 billion, <keyword id="598" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Deepika-Padukone">Deepika Padukone</keyword> at INR 2.11 billion and Shahrukh Khan at INR 2.09. The most trending (Twitter, Google Search, Wiki, YouTube etc) actress in the last quarter was Kirti Sanon (2334) followed by Priyanka Chopra (2331) and Alia Bhatt (2277). All the top three places were occupied by Indian actresses. Akshay Kumar (1792), Salman Khan (1421), Aamir Khan (1145), Shahrukh Khan (1133)m followed the chart. In terms of engagement, the top three positions have been occupied by male actors. Salman Khan had an engagement of 2.25 lakhs, followed by Shahrukh Khan at 2.16 lakhs, Akshay Kumar at 1.7 lakhs, Ajay Devgan at 0.64 lakhs and Amitabh Bachchan at 0.62 lakhs. The 21 stars included both males and females. Only seven movie stars could cross more than one lakh in terms of social media mentions. The names included with mentions are Salman Khan (4.97 lakh), Shahrukh Khan (4.52 lakh), Kangana Ranaut (3.70 lakh), Akshay Kumar (3.54 lakh), Ajay Devgn (1.95 lakh), Aamir Khan (1.88 lakh), Alia Bhatt (1.80 lakh). Despite the increasing popularity of Ananya Pandey and Bhumi Pendkar, their mentions were less than 500 in the last quarter. King Khan still ruled the overall brand score with 41.76, followed by Priyanka Chopra 41.26, Deepika Padukone 36.54, Shraddha Kapoor 34.48. The lowest score was for Kangana Ranaut 9.87. Even Aamir Khan was the third last at 11.69. The overall score is measured out of 100. Five parameters have been considered for devising this score which are followers (20), trends (10), sentiment (30), engagement (20) and mentions (20). Mumbai, Apr 9 () The release of "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai", featuring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is most likely to be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.The film, which reunites Salman with his "Bharat" co-star Disha Patani, was scheduled to hit the screens on May 22.This will be for the first time in over a decade that ardent Salman fans will not see a release on Eid, a festival date which has been synonymous with the actor.Salman started shooting for "Radhe..." last November. However, due to the shutdown on all television and film production work due to the outbreak, the last leg of filming is yet to be complete."'Radhe' will be pushed ahead for sure. We have got two songs to shoot, there is some patch work left of about five days or so, we also have editing that is left. We don't know when the situation will be normal and when we can shoot and finish our pending work," a source close to the production told .
