Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal tests positive for COVID-19

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s period movie, titled <keyword id="2523387" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mirziya">Mirziya</keyword>, reportedly has a scene that costs Rs 11 crore. For this scene (which was shot recently in Rajasthan) the producers had beefed up the security and called in for extra 45 bouncers—simply to safeguard the vintage jewellery worth Rs 11 crore that was used in the recent shooting sequence. 
 
The producers are trying their best to maintain the confidentiality of the project, which is rumoured to be based on Mirza Sahiba, the Punjabi folklore. Even photography is banned on the sets. 
 The movie is going to mark the debut of <keyword id="1602514" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Harshvardhan-Kapoor">Harshvardhan Kapoor</keyword> and <keyword id="1001770" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Saiyami-Kher">Saiyami Kher</keyword>. The scene, which is the wedding sequence of the lead actress, is said to be a turning point in the movie. For this particular scene, she would be seen wearing vintage jewellery worth Rs 11 crore. Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was worried about the security of the jewellery, owing to which he called for extra security on the sets. 
 
Both Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher belong to families that have deep connections in the movie industry. While Harshvardhan is veteran actor Anil Kapoor’s son, Saiyami Kher is the granddaughter of Usha Kiran, who was one of the most successful actresses in 1950s and 1960s. Saiyami is also the niece of Tanvi Azmi, who is married to Baba Azmi, Shabana Azmi’s brother.

That Entered Rs 100 Crore Club In 2013

Indian <keyword id="62146" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Censor-Board">censor board</keyword> may soon have a US-type grading system for movies that get an Adult only rating. Central Board of Film Certification (<keyword id="238857" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="CBFC">CBFC</keyword>) revamp committee is presently considering having separate screens for movies that have adult and sensitive content. 
 The committee which is headed by <keyword id="29916" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shyam-Benegal">Shyam Benegal</keyword> would have its first meeting on February 16 in Mumbai, where several recommendations are likely to be made. The committee comprises of film maker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, advertising expert Piyush Pandey and critic Bhawana Somaya. 
 
"We had asked for suggestions from stakeholders and the response has been thick and fast," Benegal told ET. "We have selected the most important ones, which will now be discussed and put together." 
 
The panel has also asked the board to be turned into a certification agency that would focus on ratings. A new system is soon expected that would not censor content. As per some sources, implementing a new gradation system is also possible, whereby audiences are told that a film may not be suitable for someone below 16 or 18. 
 
The Benegal committee will also consider ways that would speed up the system of a film getting certified in a day or two instead of the present time duration of a week. 
 
However, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra told ET that the main agenda of the first meeting will be to discuss redundancies that are in the 1932 Cinematograph Act, besides restricting CBFC to certification of movies and not censoring content. 
 
To make sure that the southern and eastern regions are also properly presented, actor Kamal Haasan and filmmaker Gautam Ghosh are also called to the meeting.

There might be separate screens altogether for movies with 'A' certificates

<keyword id="6357861" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="ranbir-kapoor">Ranbir Kapoor</keyword> was ecstatic when he had launched his production company, called <keyword id="1710369" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Picture-Shuru-Productions">Picture Shuru Productions</keyword>, in collaboration with <keyword id="65015" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Anurag-Basu">Anurag Basu</keyword>. However, the very first venture of the production house called ‘<keyword id="1704167" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jagga-Jasoos">Jagga Jasoos</keyword>’ has been running into trouble over and over again. 
 Earlier, <keyword id="6381730" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="govinda">Govinda</keyword> who was roped in for an important character of the movie walked out of the movie, leaving the makers in trouble. If his exit was not enough to delay the shoot of the film, another problem has now surfaced, owing to which almost half of the movie has to be shot again. The reason behind this delay is said to be the change in the storyline of the movie. 
 
Apparently, the movie was planned to be a musical narrative, but given that Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirziya, starring <keyword id="6354700" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Anil-Kapoor">Anil Kapoor</keyword>’s son Harshvardhan and Shabana Azmi’s niece Saiyami Kher, is also running on the same line, director Anurag Basu has decided to change the screenplay. 
 Another issue with the movie is the role of Ranbir’s father, for which no actor seems to be finalized as of yet. We have also heard that Govinda was roped in for the same role but walked out at the last moment, as he didn’t want to play Ranbir’s father. If reports are to be believed, Anil Kapoor and <keyword id="6357912" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="amitabh-bachchan">Amitabh Bachchan</keyword> have now been approached for the role. However, if things don’t get finalized with them, we believe that Ranbir’s real life father, actor <keyword id="6357910" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rishi-Kapoor">Rishi Kapoor</keyword> could be a considerable option too. 
 
Although the last time the real life father-son duo played their roles on camera, the resultant movie Besharam was a big dud, both commercially and critically.
